The online workspace is a secure remote connection that will connect you to your office computer. Once you log in, click on "Connect To Client Desktops", find your computer name, and click connect. You have full featured control of your computer from wherever you are. (Note: Click 'yes' on any security warnings that come up. If you are using IE7, when prompted, click the link that says "Continue to this Website". The server is secure.)
The online email access system is a secure connection to the Outlook email server in the office. You may use this to access your emails just as you would when you are in the building.
